Network Carrier Congestion on gravity.cynderhost.com

We are aware of network issues impacting gravity.cynderhost.com and are currently investigating. We will provide updates and an ETA on this page if possible and when available.

At this time, this is only impacting certain carriers, ie, Cloudflare or OVH.

  • At this time all issues have been resolved. More details will follow

  • The primary cause of this is packet loss, resulting in the issues seen. We are in contact to resolve these issues permanently.

  • We are gradually seeing a recovery for some users and monitoring for any changes.

  • We continue to mitigate the issues at the time. We’d like to assure users that DNS is working properly, so email hosted on separate servers will continue to send and receive, as well subdomains pointed elsewhere.

    Incoming email will temporarily be delayed for some accounts that have their email hosted on our servers but will not be lost.

    If any changes need to be made, please try connecting over various networks, such as a VPN, to cPanel.

  • We are continuing to resolve the issues impacting sites hosted on gravity.cynderhost.com

    At this time, we have no ETA, but will continue to provide more information as available. Please reach out if you have any questions, SLA will be applicable for this incident.

  • We’d like to iterate once again we are continuing to resolve any issues impacting our network and are seeing some conditions improve.

    Users on Cloudflare can temporarily disable the CDN by navigating to DNS and changing the “A” record for @ and www to unproxied, or a gray cloud.

  • We continue to mitigate the issue at this time. Affected users can attempt to temporarily unproxy their site from Cloudflare to partially restore service.

  • We apologize for the continued outage - rest assured we are all hands on deck towards a full resolution. Thank you for your patience
